Is there any fabric or print more effective than gingham at proving you have great taste and classic style? I don’t believe so, which is why I am excited to introduce my unique take on this iconic pattern.

Creating my version of gingham has been a journey. Tackling such a classic felt akin to rewriting War and Peace—how could I possibly improve it? But I think I found a way, and I hope you agree.

The inspiration for “my gingham” came from the most unlikely place: my husband's boxer shorts. A dedicated Brooks Brothers boxer wearer since he was young, one night I noticed him in bed wearing gingham boxers in four different colors. That was it! I realized I could do something similar with my robes and pajamas. From there, it was a delightful process of playing with countless colors and experimenting with different garment parts until they were just right. I hope you love it as much as I do. Gingham has a rich history. The word "gingham" is derived from the Malay word "genggang," meaning "striped."
